Fort Jackson Celebrates 4th of July

Fort Jackson is the largest Army training base in the United States and soldiers have been made on these pine filled sandy hills in Columbia, South Carolina since 1917.
Basic training lasts ten weeks in the armpit of South Carolina, where the average high in July is 95 degrees. This year’s celebration featured local musician Stevie Ray Ladson and the 282D Army Band.
