Pro-Choice Rally at SC Statehouse

Hundreds of pro-choice demonstrators gathered at South Carolina Statehouse on Wednesday evening. With an arsenal of signs, they waived at traffic on Gervais at Main. Some motorists honked their horns — and a few revved their engines, a common response of disapproval. When the demonstrators moved to hear speakers at the steps of the building, they encountered three kneeling counter-protesters reciting hail marys,. “Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners.”
