Palmetto Tasty Tomato Fest

Singer/songwriter Desiree Richardson, aka, Death Ray Robin, has a peculiar dream. As long as her equipment doesn’t get messed up she wants a crowd hurling tomatoes at her. Despite performing steps away from handfuls of free tomatoes this weekend, the people of Columbia have let Desiree down.

The Palmetto Tasty Tomato Festival returned for the first time since the pandemic on Saturday, relocating to the NoMa Warehouse and attracting hundreds of visitors despite the nasty July heat.
