There are parts of downtown Columbia where it’s not deserted. Near the statehouse, and on Main St. where students occupy The Hub there are vehicles in spaces and a light mix of foot traffic — a car here and there and the occasional cyclist. The main bus terminal continues to see activity. But in other areas, it’s creepily quiet. And on Sunday morning those areas were especially so.
