“I heard something on Twitter, and I don't know if it's true but it was like 14 million [ballots] that come out of Arizona and Wisconsin —and like 80% of them wasn't even watermarked,” says Terry Jackson, a 63 year-old Lexington, SC man attending his first protest on Saturday. As horns blare at the intersection of Main and Gervais, some in approval — and some accompanied by middle finger salutes, Jackson stands between two men who joke about having boxes of ballots in their garages.

“I just know it’s a fraud and there is no way he could have lost this election. I just don't believe it,” says Jackson.

With a Trump 2020 flag attached to PVC pipe and wearing a sign that reads, “4 yrs of B.S. Now They wAnt To steAl The ELection. Liberal Democrats should be ASHAME,” Jackson also points to Georgia, North Carolina, and Pennsylvania as places with crooked voting. “Trump was winning the other night by a landslide, it looked like - and then all of a sudden now he is not winning.”

Joining the three men on Saturday at the statehouse, more than one hundred Trump supporters marched seven laps around the statehouse, representing a walk from Jerusalem to Jericho. Eric Corcoran (above), with SC We the People, spoke on their concerns, “Genocide continues to go on. Human trafficking continues to happen and this election cannot be decided by dishonesty and deceit,” he says with a crowd peppered with folks wearing QAnon shirts, a conspiracy that places Donald Trump as the savior in a war against child sex trafficking rings perpetrated by Democratic leaders and celebrities.

Despite the apparent loss for President Trump, Gina Destito (above), a podcaster and news journalist — according to her business card, isn’t accepting a Biden win and leads one of many group prayers. “Thank you God for Trump being victorious. We know your will for this country and we are gonna stand with you and fight for your will to be done,” she says.

The protest at the SC Statehouse Saturday appears to be held in coordination with the InfoWars promoted “Stop the Steal” nationwide protests movement.
